Welcome to Palmer City!
I’m so glad you’ve come to visit this charming old western town, where residents have been following their dreams for more than a century! In 1888, the Palmer and the Brewer families settled the land, dividing what would become a prosperous mining town into two equal parts. The details were decided by card games, and when the chips settled, the Brewers owned the land west of Snowpack creek, and the Palmers had control of everything east to the Colorado Springs border, as well as naming rights.
Over the years, the Palmer family began to dwindle, and in the ’90s—the 1990s—Quinn Brewer and his wife, Angie, opened a sports bar and grill across from the new arena and mall—on the Palmer side of Snowpack Creek. Quinn’s mother was a Palmer, and, well, the sale of that land is a story for another time!
With the addition of the arena, an all-in-one-stop sportsplex popped up on the west side, providing a place for professional athletes and townies alike to learn and play. Featuring pro hockey players to Olympic figure skaters to world-class all-star cheerleaders, the Plex rivals the Creek Walk on a Saturday night for the busiest place in town.
Local businesses along the creek are owned by the kindest and quirkiest residents this side of the Colorado River. Rock on a swinging creekside bench or stroll along Restaurant Row to the town park, a magical place to find love and solace in all the seasons. Everything is light and peaceful here in Palmer City … mostly. With several new businesses popping up, including Quinn and Angie’s daughter Brenna’s wedding barn venue and a German-Italian fusion restaurant that’ll be in direct competition with Brewski’s, the laid-back residents of Palmer City are in for some unexpected drama.

Fixer upper meets found family in this new heartwarming small-town second chance romance when a matchmaking wedding planner reunites a lonely architect with the girl he promised to love forever.
Liam
When my family moved across the country, I promised the only girl I’ve ever loved that I’d be back. To seal that promise and prove my love to her, I spent every last penny I earned on a promise ring.
But mere days later, the crushing blow of an email rocked my world—she’d decided not to wait for me, urging me to move on. When I returned to Palmer City later that year, I discovered she’d vanished into the foster care system after a tragic event at her home.
It’s been nine years, and I’ve never given up hope of finding her. I’ve never let go of the dream that we could have a future together. When my cousin asks me to return to Colorado to redesign our grandparents’ old barn into a wedding venue, I jump at the chance.
And when I show up for the job, it’s her that my cousin hired to lead the construction. She’s moved back to town, and all of the feelings I’d long-since buried have resurfaced—along with the dream I’d never truly given up on.
Beck
Stunned. Shocked. Stupefied.
When I arrive at the barn to meet with the architect, the last thing I expect is to come face-to-face with the boy who promised to love me forever. The very same boy who had given me a promise ring, a long-lost symbol of his unwavering love and commitment. But even though I broke his heart, I could never quite let go of the love I had for him.
When our eyes lock, the buried feelings I had for him rush back. While hope and happiness fill his expression, my inner turmoil makes me want to bolt.
He doesn’t deserve the mess that is me or the destruction I leave in my wake. I need to keep my distance, because if we fall in love again—as grownups—I know the heartache will be unbearable. I can’t survive losing him again.
This is a sweet return-to-hometown he-falls-first workplace romance with heartwarming characters, found family, and even a matchmaking horse named Swiftie.
His life was perfectly perfect. Until she showed up.
A little competition, a dash of mischief, and a smidge of something sweet won’t be the only things brewing this holiday season.
Keegan Brewer’s life is perfectly fine. He’s content with his perfected daily routine: early mornings dreaming up new craft beers for his family’s restaurant, afternoons managing Brewski’s from behind the scenes, and evenings syncing Christmas songs to the LED light display on and around his tiny caboose home on his grandparents’ ranchland. Sure, it irks him that his favorite retired hockey player is opening a rival restaurant across the street, and he’ll defend his family’s business no matter what it takes. One thing he knows for sure is that he wants nothing to do with the bombshell blonde who wants his brewery secrets to make her dad’s restaurant a success.
Daughter of a hockey legend, heiress to a billion-dollar sports equipment and fashion empire, and Olympic champion in her own right, Astoria Kubek practically grew up at Brewski’s. A lifetime ago, she and the Brewer kids were friends, on and off the ice, playing peewee hockey and pranking the pros. She’s been tasked with creating a signature brew to put their new family restaurant on the map. And she wants Keegan’s help.
It’ll take everything she’s got to get the grumpy brewer’s attention, never mind his assistance. But the man won’t even look at her. Astoria is used to winning, but winning Keegan over becomes more than a job—especially when she discovers the power of his dimples and his adoration of her crazy foster kitten. Making him smile is her new mission, even if her messy life gives him hives. She’ll do whatever it takes to bring him true Christmas joy—including unleashing her adorable kitty as a secret weapon.
Together, can they craft a perfect beer and gift each other with the most special Christmas gift of all?
